Absolutely delicious and a feast for the senses. We spent New Years Celebration at Orterie after a full weekend of snowboarding and couldn’t have been happier. They make you feel so welcomed and are super friendly! Each meal was prepared with such attention to details. Even for those who generally eat meat we were extremely surprised how everything was very tasty. I am lactose intolerant and they also prepared some great vegan options for me. 1000% would recommend.

Set in the beautiful town of Stazzona, this quaint restaurant, run by a couple, is just a 10 minute drive away from Tirano. All the vegetables are taken from their own garden and the hospitality was nice with a homely touch. Food was great, with most dishes based on Japanese cuisine. Highly recommended to anyone passing by the region.

This is a delightful little family run business. We throughly enjoyed the food here and the entire experience. This is a long dinner option, and you will not have to worry about being rushed out; you can sit and take your time. The owners helped us book a taxi to get to them (we were in the area just for a day and unfamiliar with transportation) and accommodated us coming in at 9pm. We found the entire experience very charming. Only downside is the cost, which was 45 or 60 euro depending on what you order. This is probably the most expensive meal I’ve ever gotten, but In my opinion worth it for the multi hour tasting experience. The husband was a very kind and endearing host and server. They had no issue with us being vegan. 10/10 would recommend for a fancy night out.

Yesterday we went to this absolutely fascinating restaurant No menu, no choices — you just show up and let them surprise you Every time, the fixed menu is different. It’s like food roulette but you always win. Each course arrives like a little performance with a story about what it is and why it’s made that way And here’s the twist: it’s all vegan About 90% of the veggies come straight from their own garden — you can taste the freshness in every bite So good you don’t even think about meat 1000/10 — highly recommend

Amazing food served and cooked by the very gracious owners. They were able to accommodate gluten free (celiac) for me on every dish. I also stayed in their hotel for the night and the hospitality was unreal. Such a great experience. The meal is pricey but the same experience in a large city would be 2 or 3 times as expensive.

Amazing! Just spectacular food and service. The owners serve and cook themselves, you can see the attention to detail. Japanese vegetarian farm to table, everything is homemade, even the ramen noodles. They serve a fixed menu of 4 or 8 dishes. On sunny days you can eat in the sunlight or under the shade of a beautiful tree. Don’t miss out! Visit this amazing restaurant.

An Enchanting Vegan Fusion at Orterie Orterie, a delightful vegan restaurant, swept me off my feet with its harmonious blend of Italian and Japanese cuisine. Set under a majestic tree, the ambiance was charming, and the service was impeccable. Each dish in the several-course menu was a delightful surprise, surpassing the previous one in taste and presentation. Especially the desert, it was unforgettable! The wine selection was exceptional, and the owner personally took us on a tour of the impressive wine cellar. It added a touch of warmth and personalized attention to our dining experience. Orterie's chef, with a Japanese background, masterfully infused Italian dishes with unique flavors, creating a culinary journey that delighted our taste buds. Overall, our experience at Orterie was unforgettable, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a delightful fusion of flavors in a delightful setting.

A very creative menu with well crafted and detailed dishes. Each course was a new treat to experience and none of them were disappointing. The chef's combination of Japanese and Italian concepts was very well executed, and I really appreciate how the entire menu is vegetarian. This is truly an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend. The prices were pretty reasonable considering the high quality of the recipes and ingredients. We had a wonderful time here and would absolutely want to return again.
